This year sucked, so good riddance!
OK, maybe some good things happened, but they're not even close to weighing up for the bad thing that happened, so 2009 better rock. It'll be hard since this years crappiness will spill over into next year (and the year after that and the year after that and so on etc) but i think i deserve a good fucking year this time. gimme.

So happy new year, especially to me.
